THE PRAYERS THAT ARE SAID UPON WAKING UP IN THE MORNING

  • If a person says in the morning, "I am pleased with ALLAH as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (pbuh) as the Messenger", Allah will be pleased with him. (Abu Dawud)
  • Praise be to ALLAH, who revives us after our death and to whom we will return. (Nasai)
  • If a person says, "O ALLAH! Any bounty that exists with me or any creature of you in the morning is from you. You are one; you have no partners. Praise be to you. Thanks be to you" in the morning, he is regarded to have fulfilled his duty of thanks for that day. (Abu Dawud)
  • Recite "Qul huwallahu ahad" and "Muawwizatayn (chapters of al-Falaq and an-Nas) three times in the evening and in the morning. They will be sufficient for you against everything. (Nasai)
  • If a person says, "I start with the name of ALLAH; Nothing in the sky and on the earth can harm when one starts with His name. He hears and knows everything" three times every morning and every evening, misfortunes will not hit him until the morning. If he says it three times in the morning, misfortunes will not hit him until the evening. (Nasai)
  • "O ALLAH! The Creator of the skies and the earth! O Lord who knows and owns all of the things that are known or unknown! I take refuge in you from the evil of my soul and Satan. (Nasai)
  • Praise be to Allah; we have reached the morning. The property has reached the morning for ALLAH, too. (Muslim)
  • We have reached the morning with the nature of Islam, concept of sincerity, the religion of the Prophet Muhammad and the nation of Ibrahim. He was a pure Muslim. I am not one of the polytheists. (Nasai)

  • "O ALLAH! The hearers heard about your nice bounties you gave to us and your praise. O Lord! Be together with us and grant us out of your generosity and grace. We take refuge in you from the torture of Hell! (Nasai)

HANDS NEED TO BE WASHED THREE TIMES UPON WAKING UP

  • Do not put your hands into any dish before you wash your hands three times after you wake up because you cannot know where you put your hands during the night. (Bukhari)

IT IS NECESSARY TO BLOW ONE'S NOSE THREE TIMES UPON WAKING UP

  • Blow your nose three times when you wake up because Satan spends the night in your nose. (Bukhari)
