WALKING LIKE GOING DOWN A SLOPE

WALKING WITH LONG STEPS WHEN ONE IS TIRED

  • When one of you gets tired while walking, he should walk with long steps because it will remove one’s tiredness. (Ramuz al-Ahadith)

AVOID WALKING WITH A SINGLE SHOE

  • Beware of walking with a single shoe; you should either take off or put on both shoes. (Bukhari)

WALKING TO THE MOSQUE WITH SHORT STEPS

  • Zayd ibn Thabit (RA) narrates: “We were going to the mosque along with the Apostle of God (PBUH). He was walking with short steps. He asked me: “Do you know why I am walking in such a way?” I answered: ALLAH and His Apostle know better”. He said: “The reason why I walk with short steps is to increase the number of my steps on the way to the salah (prayer).” (Bukhari, Adab-ul Mufrad)
