TWO RAKAH PRAYER BEFORE LEAVING HOME AND AFTER RETURNING HOME

Pray two rakahs of salah before leaving home. That saves you from going outside in a bad way. And pray two rakahs of salah when you enter your home. That saves you from a harmful thing, too. (Ramuz al-Ahadith)

THE PRAYERS THAT ARE TO BE RECITED WHILE LEAVING HOME

When a person says “Bismillah” while going out from his home, two supervising angels say: “You have been guided to the truth”. When he says, “La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah”, the angels say, “You have been guarded”. When he says, “Tawakkaltu alallah”, they say, “Your work has been accomplished for you”. (Tirmidhi)
