Abu Said (May God be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) said:

“Noah (Peace be Upon Him) and his people will come (on the Day of Resurrection).

God will ask (Noah): ‘Did you convey (the Message) about my religion?’

Noah (PbUH) will reply: ‘Yes, my Lord!’

Then God will ask Noah’s people: ‘Did Noah convey My Message to you?’

They will say: ‘No! No prophet came to us.’

Then God will ask Noah (PBUH), ‘Who will stand as a witness for what you say?’

Noah (PbUH) will then reply: ‘Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) and his followers (will stand witness for me).’ So Muhammad’s (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) followers will stand as witnesses for Noah (PBUH) thus: ‘Noah conveyed the Message.’'

This situation indicates this verse from the Qur’an: “Thus we have made you a just and the best nation that you might be witnesses over mankind”. (Surah al-Baqara, 2/143)
