THE BEST OF THE BELIVERS IS THE ONE WHO MAKES THINGS EASIER IN COMMERCE

THE HONOUR OF A PERSON WHO IS ABLE TO PAY HIS DEBT YET HE DOES NOT IS IN DANGER

THE COMMERCE WHICH IS MADE EARLY IS FRUITFUL
- Sahr Ibn Wada’a al-Ghamidhi (RA) narrates: The Apostle of God (PBUH) used to pray as follows: “O my God! Bless the earliness of my Ummah” Sahr was a merchant; he used to start business at the very beginning of the day. By doing so, he became rich and his property increased. (Abu Dawud)
GOODS MUST BE MEASURED AND WEIGHED
- When you sell something; weigh it and when you buy something; let it be weighed. (Bukhari)
- Weigh your cereal so that it will get fruitful for you. (Ibn Majah)
THE SCALE SHOULD BE MADE HEAVY
- When you weigh, make the scale heavy. (Ibn Majah)
THE DEFECT OF A PROPERTY SHOULD BE INFORMED WHEN SELLING
- A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. It is not halal for a person not to inform his Muslim brother about the defect of a thing when selling it. (Ibn Majah)
- A person who sells something without informing the defect of something is exposed to the wrath of GOD and curse of angels. (Ibn Majah)
PROVOKING THE SALE IS OBJECTIONABLE
- If you are not a purchaser, do not intervene between the buyer and the seller for the purpose of increasing the price. (Bukhari)
INTERVENING THE ONGOING BARGAIN IS NOT PERMISSIBLE
- A person should avoid shopping by intervening the bargain before his brother finalizes the purchase or gives it up completely. (Nasai)
LYING AND COMMITTING PERJURY IN BARGAIN IS A GRAVE SIN
- O Merchants! Avoid lying. (Tabarani)

- Abu Said al-Khudri (RA) narrates: “A Bedouin brought a sheep. I asked him, “Will you sell it for three dirhams?” He answered; Wallahi (I swear by God) No! However, then, he sold it for three dirhams. When I informed the Apostle of God (PBUH) about this, he said: “He sold his hereafter in return for wealth.” (Ibn Hibban)
ADDING BARGAIN PRICE TO THE PRODUCT TO BE SOLD IS OBJECTIONABLE
- Qayla Ummu Bani Ammar (RA) narrates: I approached to the apostle of God (PBUH) near mount Marwah in one of his Umrah visits and asked the following: “O apostle of God! I am a merchant woman. When I want to buy something, I usually quote a price lower than I wish. And I slowly increase the price and reach the amount that I want to give. What do you say about this?” He answered: “O Kayla, do not do this. When you want to buy something, say the amount that you wish to give, whether it is accepted or not.” After that the Apostle of God (PBUH) said this: When you want to sell a product, give the price that you want to receive but not the highest” (Ibn Majah)
THE RIGHT OF STOLEN GOODS BELONGS TO ITS FIRST OWNER
- If a property of someone gets lost or is stolen and if that man sees another person selling it, the right of that property belongs to its first owner. The person can get back his money from the seller. (Ibn Majah)
SELLING THE GOODS ON THE WAY BEFORE THEY REACH THE BAZAAR IS INCONVENIENT
- Do not start selling goods by meeting customers on the way before sellers bring their goods to the bazaar. (Tirmidhi)
AN UNDELIVERED GOOD IS NOT SOLD
- When the Apostle of God (PBUH) sent Attab Ibn Asid (RA) to Makkah, He forbad him to take the profit of the property which is bought but not delivered yet. (Ibn Majah)
THE DANGER OF BLACK-MARKETING
- What a bad person a black marketer is. He gets upset when there is inexpensiveness and becomes happy when there is expensiveness. (Ruzayn)
- A person who intervenes in prices in order to generate expensiveness for the disadvantage of Muslims will receive a great punishment of God in the Judgment Day. (Ahmad b. Hanbal)
DYING IN DEBT IS UNFAVORABLE
- I swear by God, through whose His power and will that I live, a man who is in debt were to be killed in the way of God and then resurrected and killed again, and resurrected but killed again, will not be able to go to paradise unless he pays his debt. (Nasai)
WHEN TWO PARTNERS ARE RELIABLE, THE THIRD WILL BE GOD

USURY IS CURSED
